  1. Sea water is the water of the seas and 
  2. oceans, covering about 70% of the Earth's 
  3. surface and comprising about 97% of the 
  4. world's water (only about 3% is fresh water). 
  5. Sea water contains a large amount of 
  6. dissolved solids, the most abundant of which 
  7. is sodium chloride (almost 3% by mass), other 
  8. salts include potassium chloride, bromide, 
  9. and iodide, magnesium chloride, and magnesium 
  10. sulphate.
